I got that one from Lidl a few years ago - its a decent size, but the walls are quite thin - but a bit of foam board should sort it out nicely.

I bought two of those for relatively cheap, maybe 12 euros in Germany in 2005, and put the walls as double which gives them more standing power. I just had to cut the hook parts off the wall sections so that they stand next to the towers instead of hook into them.

Mine arrived today . It needs painting and also i think I'm going to build up and add to the inside of the wall pieces. Should be a nice little project once i can free the castle from its new owner...

    Great castle for £10 though

That Debenham Castle looks awesome!! And a great deal - I wonder if they will come back in stock at the same price and will ship to the US. I may not have put all of the effort into making my own replica castle from the GW Bret book if I had seen this before. Here is the castle I made that we use:

Oh well, I did have fun making this castle. All of the components can be separated, so if I just want the gatehouse or watchtower, it can be used by itself.

Man thats ACE (I'd buy it under the premise it's for the little'un when he's older ahem)-Wish I'd seen one when we were in the Torquay Debenhams last week...:P

@MDSW-I really wouldn't be disheartened, that is one fantasic looking castle and a very nice paintjob as well!

Is the cat shown for scale purposes only?

I managed to find a warhammer castle on ebay and it works a dream. Infact were playing a small 6,000 point battle soon with it. The only problem is you need to agree the rules for the siege before hand as a couple of rules are a little ambiguous.

I've been considering prurchasing it for while but I'm a little bit worried that it will be unpractical during a game

been considering that castle as well. i know other terrain from them is good. it's strong, light weight and ready to use if you wish. it also allows you to paint it yourself and add all kinds of stuff like the plant that you sometimes see against the wall of a building, don't know the english name for it though.

    cheers
